Building Dreams Beyond Homes with Make-A-Wish

October 22, 2025

At Natale Builders, we believe in the power of community and the importance of giving back. We are proud to announce our latest project at Miller’s Crossing, where the net proceeds from the sale of a new home will be donated to Make-A-Wish. This groundbreaking event, which took place on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, marks a significant step in our ongoing commitment to supporting the incredible work done by Make-A-Wish.

Why Make-A-Wish?

For Angelo Natale, founder of Natale Builders, the decision to support Make-A-Wish is deeply personal. “While it’s important to protect our community’s children, life can throw a curveball. Those curveballs include cancer,” says Natale. This sentiment resonates strongly within our Natale Builders family, especially for employee Bobby Corrao and his nephew, Mark Corrao.

Mark was diagnosed with a form of leukemia, turning his family’s world upside down. Thanks to Make-A-Wish, Mark and his family found hope and joy amidst the challenges. “He rang the bell on August 23, 2021, to signify the end of his active treatment. He continues to go to Roswell for bloodwork to make sure there continues to be no evidence of the disease,” shared Natale. “And here’s the important part. In June of this month, 2024, he will have his wish granted – he’s going to the Big Island of Hawaii.”

Building Homes, Building Hope

This isn’t the first time Natale Builders has partnered with Make-A-Wish. We have previously built and sold two other homes, with the proceeds also going to support this life-changing organization. With the sale of this third home at Miller’s Crossing, we are thrilled to announce that our contributions will bring the grand total donated to Make-A-Wish to $250,000.

The impact of these donations extends far beyond financial support. They help turn dreams into reality for children facing serious illnesses, providing them and their families with unforgettable experiences and cherished memories.

Do I Need a Survey? And What Is Percolation Testing?

Not sure if you need a survey or percolation testing before you build? This quick guide breaks down what each one does, why it matters for permits and septic planning, and how Natale Builders helps you handle the steps with confidence.

Septic vs. Sewer for a New Build

Choosing between septic and sewer for your new build comes down to what’s available in your area, your upfront budget, and your site’s soil conditions. Sewer is the most hands-off option with monthly utility fees, while septic typically costs more to install and maintain but can save you from ongoing sewer bills if your lot meets the land and drainage requirements.
