Stars of Hope: Something Magical is Taking Shape

Something magical is taking shape in Buffalo—and it all begins with a star.

Natale Builders is thrilled to announce our 2025 charitable partnership with the Family Support Services team at John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital. As part of this year-long initiative, we’re shining a spotlight on the vital services they provide to patients and families, while working to raise $50,000 in support of their incredible work.

And we’re doing it in a way that brings the entire community together—with paint, passion, and purpose.

Art with Heart: The Stars of Hope Fundraiser

Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 11am–6pm, and head to 1502 Niagara Street, home of the Crescendo Building. That’s where our “Stars of Hope” fundraiser will come to life, literally. With music, food trucks, art exhibits, and a live mural painting experience, this event is more than a fundraiser—it’s a full-on celebration of creativity and compassion.

But the true stars of the show? The children of Oishei.

The murals will include star-themed artwork created by young patients at the hospital. These bright, beautiful contributions will be woven into large-scale pieces painted by a lineup of incredible artists, including New Jersey-based muralist Joe Iurato, local talent Nicole Cherry, and several other community artists. Their collaboration will transform the Crescendo Building’s exterior into a vibrant tribute to the strength and spirit of Oishei’s patients.

Wearable Art for a Worthy Cause

To help raise additional funds, we’ll also be offering exclusive t-shirts featuring the children’s original star designs. Every purchase helps fuel our $50,000 goal and brings us closer to creating something truly meaningful for families who rely on Oishei’s services.

A Project Rooted in Gratitude

The idea for “Stars of Hope” came from a place of deep admiration. We’re proud to support the Child Life Department at Oishei Children’s Hospital, whose staff members make every hospital stay a little brighter and a lot more human for children and their families. Our recent press conference at the hospital was just the beginning of what we hope will be a transformative effort—and we’re honored to have had leaders from Kaleida Health and Oishei Children’s Hospital by our side as we announced this special event.

Join Us

This project isn’t just about murals or donations. It’s about what happens when a community shows up for one another. When we channel our creativity, resources, and time into lifting up local families who need it most.

We’d love for you to be part of this.

Join us on June 7. Buy a t-shirt. Spread the word. Every star counts. https://www.www.natalebuilders.com/stars-of-hope

Do I Need a Survey? And What Is Percolation Testing?

Not sure if you need a survey or percolation testing before you build? This quick guide breaks down what each one does, why it matters for permits and septic planning, and how Natale Builders helps you handle the steps with confidence.

Septic vs. Sewer for a New Build

Choosing between septic and sewer for your new build comes down to what’s available in your area, your upfront budget, and your site’s soil conditions. Sewer is the most hands-off option with monthly utility fees, while septic typically costs more to install and maintain but can save you from ongoing sewer bills if your lot meets the land and drainage requirements.
